We assess YOU and YOUR needs:  This is not a cookie-cutter approach. To maximize the results we help our clients achieve, we always do our best to make sure we are a good fit for each other. And to achieve that goal, we want to make sure you have the information you need to make the right decision for you. We start with scheduling an assessment to start you on the road to making positive changes in your life.  Once you’ve scheduled and paid for the assessment (this appointment is only $99), and before we see you, you will be sent an audio that will provide the answers to many of your questions. If you are ready and open to making positive changes in your life, those shifts can begin immediately during this time.  The assessment is actually Session #1. We will evaluate your situation, conduct hypnotic processes and start removing the “blocks” to your success and break you out of the “trance” (ruts, habits) that have been keeping you stuck. People love the fact that there is no obligation to go any further and no pressure to stop any habit at this point, but should we decide to continue, this assessment process is essential. This helps pave the way for the next step.

We do not charge by a single session price or by amount of time spent; instead, we base the fee on the solution you are seeking and then customize a program to fit YOU. Each program involves a certain number of sessions, including products. The length of each session is not determined by minutes but rather how quickly you get into the desired state of mind.  

After the initial couple of sessions, most people require only about 30 minutes per session to get the desired results. (We’ve worked with some people who only require 5-10 minutes to get into the desired state of mind and easily achieve success.) Longer sessions do not equal more value. In fact, too much talking/discussing/explaining can diminish the effects of the session.  Instead, we keep the talk to a quiet minimum and go right into the change-work.  (For some programs, you will be asked to submit a weekly Session Prep sheet at least 24 hours before your session so that we can get right to the “meat” of things when you come in.)

The mind works very efficiently if you allow it. If you think something is going to take a long time, is going to be too hard or you have doubts about your ability to achieve your goals, then your mind will believe you and it will take longer, be harder and you may not reach your desired goals.

So before beginning any program, you must WANT to make positive changes, BELIEVE you CAN, and EXPECT to SUCCEED.

Many factors determine the type of program we design for you, including but not limited to your issues, your circumstances, your willingness to follow instructions, how you handle honest feedback, your level of maturity, your attitude, your overall health and your sincere desire to achieve success.

Even then, you may still need more sessions after your initial program has completed. Everyone processes things differently and in their own time. And some find that they enjoy the benefits of hypnosis so much that they make it a regular part of their weekly or monthly health and wellness routine. Many refer to Billings Hypnosis as a Healing Center:  As the hypnotist, about 10% of my energy is spent on listening to words; 90% of my energy is spent using my intuition, feeling your energy and reading you. We now offer Zoom Video Sessions as well as Phone Sessions in addition to our In-Clinic Sessions:  We work with people all across the United States via Zoom video or phone sessions.  Virtual sessions are totally safe and equally as effective as an in-office hypnosis session. Your energy, intention and voice intonation can be read by the hypnotist over the Internet or by phone. There is no danger of staying under hypnotic trance.  Your brain knows to”wake up” safely whenever YOU want. You can be assured that when you are in the state of hypnosis, you choose to be aware of everything if you so desire. You can communicate with the hypnotist at any time throughout the session, even with your eyes closed. Zoom Video and Phone sessions are convenient for people who live out of state and others who want to avoid driving long distances or wintry roads. Whether it’s a video, phone or an in-clinic session, afterwards you will feel more empowered, more in touch with your true self and you will know your goals are within your reach.

How much will it cost?”  It is impossible to know what you will need before the assessment. As we customize our programs, we won’t know what you need or how many sessions it will take until we sit and discuss your situation.  That’s because we give you personalized attention. Compare it to scheduling a visit to your doctor’s office:  You pay for the initial visit with the doctor to find out what’s wrong or what tests you’ll need. The doctor has no way of knowing what’s wrong or what it will cost to fix you until he examines you and then explores the various treatment options available.  It works the same way in our clinic. There are too many variables to consider, so that is why it’s imperative to start with the assessment. However, if you need a ballpark figure so you can plan your investment accordingly, then see “INVESTMENT” section below. Obviously, there is no obligation to continue after the assessment, but you will get benefit from the assessment itself, (Session #1).

INVESTMENT:  Yes, that’s correct. This is an INVESTMENT in yourself, your health, your life.  As such, we’ve designed our process and our programs for the person who views taking care of their health and well-being as one of the most important investments they can make. Are you willing to invest in YOURSELF?!

We structure things so that you receive a premium level of service. We tell you this only to explain that our goal is a superior level of result for you. “Average results” are not something we want for any of our clients… including you. Because of this, your investment for our Signature Programs is definitely at the premium end of the spectrum.   So if your situation is such that finances are the number one concern for you, then our Signature Programs are probably not going to be a good fit.  However, consider how much it is costing you to keep those old habits: (How much is smoking costing you? How much is the junk food costing you?  How much are you spending on medications to treat self-imposed health issues? How much is wasted time costing you?)

Sessions within these programs can range anywhere from $197 to $297 each session, depending on your issue, complexity, length of time needed, how long you’ve been working with the hypnotist, how well you pay attention, your living environment, your stress level, etc.  There is an additional fee added to cover the costs of the products included in your program. Sessions might last anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours.  Depending on your situation, sessions might be once or twice a week or scheduled to accommodate your travel schedule if you are coming in from out of state. Some sessions might be done over the Internet or by phone. Minimum number of sessions in a program at the start is three. (Most people get results after only one session; but we also address other things in their lives in follow-up sessions (stress, sabotaging family members, outside influences, etc) to ensure that the results stick. Please note we have a no-refund policy and we require a 48-hour (2-business day) notice for rescheduling and cancellations.

There is no maximum number of sessions as many people like to continue with refresher sessions after their program is complete because they realize that they need ongoing support and accountability. Many use the hypnosis techniques and tools to support them in other areas of their lives. Some come back to work on other topics, such as their relationships and communication issues; work stress; family-of-origin stress; improving their self-confidence; increasing their sales at their workplace; improving their golf game or other athletic endeavors; learning how to let go of the past; releasing grief from their heart; letting go of old patterns that no longer serve them, etc.

 This process can be compared to getting massages, having a regular exercise routine, or even going to a weekly Bible study.  In other words, hypnosis sessions become part of a regular physical, mental, emotional and spiritual fitness routine. Or, in other words, a “Massage for the Mind!” People want the ability to have ongoing mindset readjustments when life gets in the way, when stress gets the upperhand, or when unexpected life challenges come along. Think of hypnosis sessions as one of the “tools” of healthy living that you can use throughout the years.

Why Does Hypnosis Seem to Cost More?  Perhaps you are someone who has toyed with the idea of hypnosis, but have been put off by what looks like a costly program structure.

So why does it seem that hypnosis is a more expensive procedure than counseling or similar therapies? Because you are making an investment in YOURSELF!  Do you value yourself? Do you value better health?

Unlike other therapies which are largely based on listening to the client, making the occasional observation or asking a question, hypnotists are responsible for the input of subconscious guidance which is completely tailor made for the client. Trance induction is included, and the amount of time it takes for each person varies. This requires immense concentration by the hypnotist who will do 90% of the talking in the session. The demands on the hypnotist are naturally much higher than in other therapies. Reputable hypnotists limit the number of clients per day so they can give their best.

You might think this means a hypnotist gets the client into the trance and then orders the client about. Well, that is a common fantasy of the media which ridicules hypnosis as a “magic wand” that takes control away from people. Clinical hypnosis is nothing like that.

The first appointment (the assessment) is done at the conscious level and involves some tests and helping the client define a goal or outcome for the process. The goal must be achievable, precisely defined in considerable detail and morally ethical. Typical goals include becoming free of worries and fears, being more confident, releasing habits (smoking, snacking chewing tobacco) passing exams, helping with sleep, stress or some simple pain issues.

We say “seeing is believing” because deep down we all know, if we cannot see it, we cannot get it (as any high-achieving person will tell you.)  Believing is also seeing. Under hypnosis, the unconscious begins to see the goal clearly and to believe in it. The unconscious will then search for ways to knock obstacles out of the way in order to reach the goal. This is a unique path for each client.

This action can be very fast which is why hypnosis is often a shorter form of therapy, depending on the client, of course (and actually much less expensive in the long run than other therapies that require you to set up appointments for months and years.) Hypnosis goes straight to the heart of the problem and corrects it and then moves on to enabling the client to visualize a compelling future.

Yes, hypnosis is an investment….in YOURSELF…and the results are more than worth it. And they can come surprisingly quickly when one is really ready to make a positive change and follow the hypnotist’s suggestions.

Our programs are private pay, prepaid, but we can provide you with an invoice to submit on your own. How Hypnosis Works

Most people have questions about hypnosis. Hypnosis isn’t magic. It isn’t sleep. It isn’t being “knocked out.”  Real hypnosis isn’t much like what you’ve seen on television or in the movies. You can’t be “made” to do anything, and you always have free will. You have to demonstrate you can pay attention and follow directions in order to be accepted as a client. Hypnosis involves belief, expectation and repetition. Understand you may need several sessions for lasting results. Everyone’s mind processes suggestions differently.  So you must be willing to stick with it, take action and follow through. You must be willing to invest time outside your sessions to work on your challenge or goal.  Think of it as having a regular physical, mental, emotional and spiritual fitness routine.

Hypnosis is the easiest way to affect change in your life because the positive messages go straight to your subconscious mind effortlessly so you can accomplish your goals and reach for the stars! All you have to do is listen to the suggestions, want them to work and EXPECT them to work.

Intelligence is directly correlated to suggestibility.  The  more intelligent you are, the more easily you can be hypnotized. People of below-average IQ find it difficult to go into a hypnotic state.
